Our Story

Our name carries something very close to our hearts.

Amahle speaks of beauty.

And for us, beauty has never meant perfection.

It is found in character. In warmth. In confidence. In the lines on a face that tell a story. In the way someone laughs without holding back. In mothers, daughters, sisters, husbands, fathers and friends.

It is the kind of beauty that grows deeper with time.

That is the beauty we wanted Amahle & Nandi to celebrate.

From our home in Cape Town, South Africa, surrounded by the colours, warmth and unmistakable spirit of this country, Amahle & Nandi was created as an online-only fashion store.

We currently do not operate a physical retail store or walk-in location in Cape Town. Our collections are available exclusively through our online store and are delivered directly to our customers.

To offer a wider selection of styles while keeping our store accessible, we work with international fulfilment and logistics partners. This means that some orders are dispatched from fulfilment facilities outside South Africa before being handed over to a local delivery partner for final delivery.

But wherever an order begins its journey, the customer experience remains with Amahle & Nandi.

Our customer support is here for our South African customers, and we remain your point of contact for questions about your order, delivery, sizing, returns or refunds.

We wanted clothing for real life.

For slow Sunday mornings and busy weekdays.

For lunches with friends, weddings and family gatherings.

For warm South African afternoons, evenings by the coast, holidays, birthdays and those ordinary days that unexpectedly become some of our favourite memories.

Every collection is chosen with one question in mind:

“Would we feel beautiful wearing this ourselves?”

If the answer is no, it does not belong at Amahle & Nandi.

We look for flattering silhouettes, beautiful details and styles that feel special without feeling impossible to wear.
